Mark Raines
Mark grew up in Norfolk, England, and began his working career in local government. In 2000 he felt a call to pastoral ministry and studied at London Theological Seminary and later (for MDiv) at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids. He has been married to Abigail (from the Philippines) since 2003. They have two American children and together they have served churches in London, South Africa, Michigan and East Haven since 2014.

Chris Forbes
Chris was raised in Windsor Locks, CT. He graduated from The University of Connecticut in 1996 and, having graduate degrees from Texas A&M University and Yale University, has been a scientist in the biotech industry since 2002. He was converted in his twenties and was baptized into membership at Grace Reformed Baptist Church in 2000. Chris spent three years as a deacon and was elected to the board of elders in 2010. He and his wife Jennifer married in 1996 and have four daughters: Kathryn, Abigail, Reagan and Ada.

Adam Richwine
Adam was raised in Carlisle, PA, and was baptized at age 15. He and his wife, Shannon, attended The Master’s College in Santa Clarita, California. Adam and Shannon were married in 2002 and have four children. Adam has been on the board of elders since 2012, and currently works in the financial services industry.

Graham Peyton
Graham grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, and moved to the United States in 2017 after completing graduate studies in biomedical and electrical engineering in London. He is happily married to his wife, Megan, since 2014, and together they have 3 daughters. Graham has been a member of GRBC since 2017 and joined the board of elders in 2021.

Deacons

Phil Pomeroy
Philip was born and raised in New Haven. He has worked in the transportation industry as a mechanic since 1989. He and his wife Beth were married in 1993 and have two children. Phil and Beth became members of Grace Reformed Baptist Church in 2006.

Tom Dropka
Tom was born in Illinois, providentially adopted into a Christian family, and proudly raised in Texas. He eventually took a wrong turn at Albuquerque and has lived in Connecticut for much longer than he expected. He joined GRBC in 2000 and was called to serve as a deacon in 2015. Tom and Cristi have been happily married since 2000.
